Are you spiritually blind?

 

When they arrived at Bethsaida, some people brought a blind man and begged Jesus to touch him.

Are you spiritually blind? I saw this nice reminder and message on my morning prayer App this week, Mornings with God, it had a nice reminder about how important God is in our lives and we need Him and should not go about in this life, without Him or being blinded by things of this world, but instead surrender and abandon all to God following Jesus and being lead by His ways! 

On the Mornings With God App this week, they were talking about being blind spiritually, they said, "There are many kinds of blindness. Some people are physically blind and cannot see the beauty of the natural world. But others, with perfect eyesight, are spiritually blind, unable to see the things of God. Spiritual blindness is far worse than physical blindness. Our prayer should be, “Open my eyes to see the spiritual beauty around me.” There’s a story of a man who lived by the sea and often talked about the blue mountains beyond. His neighbors couldn’t see the mountains and thought he was just a dreamer. But one day, the man sailed away to explore the mountains and returned with treasures—gold, silver, and precious stones. Are you blind? Bling spiritually? Can you life improve if you include Jesus in your life? Are you living in this world only or do you see the spiritual world and promises God offers us when we follow Jesus? His promise offers us life eternal in Heaven when we do. We do not have to go about in this Earthly world blinded by things of this world nor being slaves for Satan, we need God, we need to follow Jesus, and by living by the Holy Spirit when can have so much more than this earthly world offers, we can have life eternal in Heaven with Jesus!
