Here am I. Send me!

 

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

~Isaiah 6:8

Here am I. Send me! Yes, I do feel God is asking me to do this blog. To share His love, mission, Jesus, and the miracles that are possible with Him! I am blessed! He is with me always! He always has been since a small child. I have felt God close. I was also blessed like Jesus to have great parents who raised me to know Him, to be a good person. To be a teacher and professor, to teach others about math and also to be good people and citizens, that is what we do as teachers. I heard recently from the wife of Charlie Kirk at his memorial that she said this was one of his favorite Bible verses. I love it too. Yes, we are called to do the will of God, to be seeds, to plant, to bring people to the Lord! I know that Charlie tried to do that. I too do, my mom always used to say I should have been a priest. She thought I was quite preachy, I guess I had a lot of Jesus in me and I know right from wrong and the Bible. I ask God daily to use me and help me to be more like Jesus each day. To do His will and have Him lead me, guide me, instruct me, to bring me where I need to be in life for His glory! We are here for Him, it is all part of His plan, not ours. We are called to be disciples too today, just like Jesus called His 12. We are here to be examples, to follow the model of Jesus Christ, to reflect, forgive, imitate, and love like Jesus! All we need to do is ask Jesus to cover us with His precious blood and protect us, He will take care of us and look out for us, we are called to serve Him, to love like Him!  Here I am Lord, send me to do Your will!
