Grateful and blessed!

 

I am so grateful and blessed! I was happy to find out today I do not have to go to jury duty next Monday. What a blessing! I was dreading it. I had gone like a year or two ago, and didn't want to have to go again so soon. So that was a nice blessing from God! The beach was lovely this week. It was quite strong today, lots of seaweed, but on Wednesday it was calm and so swimmable. This week was very nice overall. I love all my prayers and peace at the beach and where we live now in the country!  It is cooling down, less humidity and not as hot as the summer, so more like fall or winter in Florida which is nice. I love it here, but sometimes it can be so hot. This summer was the hottest I have seen in many years, so the cool down now is a real blessing. I have enjoyed my beach and walks in the woods and by the lake and pond. I love my gardening. We had a good week at the gym and eating out. Publix had the turkey cranberry sub this week, we tried the steak nuggets, and today Publix had stuffed clams on sale, so we tried some with a little pizza. I made a very good red raspberry pie this week, Publix had raspberries on sale for 99 cents, what a deal, the pie was so good, one of my favorites. We keep looking for a house in NY, still nothing, we really want Waterville, but will keep looking and stay hopeful, God's timing is always perfect, so it will happen when He wants I am sure. We saw a pretty old red farmhouse in Oriskany Falls I am considering, but not sure I want that far out or 22 acres to take care of. We will see. I have to say, God is so good to me and I am forever grateful and blessed for everything in my life! To be retired now, to have more freedom, to know I made a difference and had a wonderful career, great students, and accomplished so much is all a blessing. I am blessed by a wonderful life, wonderful family, religion, home, siblings, and faith. God is so good to me always!  Thank you Jesus, Heaven changes everything!
