It is really all about love!
Above all, love one another deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
~1 Peter 4:8
It is really all about love in this life! So many today just do not get it. They are filled with so much hate. Their hate has become their own worst enemy. Especially the ones who hate our President and suffer from TDS. It is sad to see all the hate. They just do not know Jesus at all. They are godless and without souls it seems. We are not here to judge, but to be around hate, just is not pleasant. I know I will not join any hate clubs. I was raised to know love, never hate, it is uncomfortable to be around a hater, or one who swears a lot and uses a lot of F bombs. They show no respect for themselves or other people, they have no love. But really, it is all about love! It is all about following Jesus, and loving like Him!
The Mornings With God App today said, "We often call John the “Apostle of Love,” but other New Testament writers also emphasize the importance of Christian love. Paul’s famous thirteenth chapter of First Corinthians is a masterpiece on the subject of love. Peter also tells us that “above all things,” we are to be fervent in our love for one another because love covers a multitude of sins. This means that love overlooks the faults, flaws, and sins in others. This lesson is worth repeating. Love doesn’t come naturally to us—it’s something we must learn. If Paul’s description of love is the standard, most of us have a lot of growing to do. Peter urges us to be fervent in love, which means warm, tender, and affectionate toward one another. The only way to develop this kind of Christian love is to let Christ’s love fill our hearts." Found at: https://www.youdevotion.com/mornings/october/8
We need to be fervent in love. I feel that way like Peter, I have always felt this way, I have never understood hate. If I hear it or see it, it turns me off. To me love wins over hate, and if I see or hear it, it is a turn off to see a hater. Peter and Paul both were huge advocates for love, loving like Jesus, saying like Jesus, it is all about love! It is so true. So many today sin and sin, they do not want to know anything about Jesus or repenting sins, they make a lot of excuses and justify all their hate and sin, forgetting about how Jesus loved us so much, He died for us and our sins, and we are called to follow Him! Called to love one another, all people, everyone always!
