The prize that God offers us in this life is what is most important! Too many of us are chasing dreams, prizes, lots of money, power, fame, and riches. We want more and more. We want many prizes, fame, glory, and all the accolades of this human life on Earth. Nobel Peace prizes and prizes for research and scientific discover, getting awards, money, fame, accolades, we chase it all. But what really is most important? God offers us a greater prize than anything Nobel or others can give. We are promised life eternal in Heaven with Jesus when we follow Him! That is honestly the most important prize we can achieve in this life here, to get into Heaven to spend life eternal in Heaven with Jesus our King, Lord, and Savior! What are you doing in this life for others? We are called to serve here. To follow Jesus and imitate, forgive, reflect, and love like Him. Are you doing this? Living a holy and upright life, serving our King and follow man, being all about love? Or are you being selfish, greedy, corrupt, piggish, and making it all about you and your own fame? Are you a slave to Satan or a servant for Christ? What is important to you? A prize in this world or a prize to pass on to eternal life in Heaven with Jesus? When I was a teacher and professor I was blessed to win many awards for my teaching, some really nice prestiges ones from students. It was very nice and a blessing. I treasure them and I am grateful that they honored me with such nice awards and money prizes, all a blessing. I loved being a teacher and loved my students. I did it all with love and it did make a difference for them and for me. While they are wonderful achievements, we too as humans need to live our lives this way, living with love, being great people, servants for Christ, following Jesus, imitating, forgiving, reflecting, and loving like Him, not sinning or being slaves for Satan for things of this world, but what is good, what is love! That is what matters! What prize are you living for in this life? Is it for Heaven, to spend life eternal with Jesus Christ?
