The Hopi say that when humans lose connection with the divine all chaos breaks out. We could learn a lot from the Hopi! The Hopi oral tradition teaches that each world's destruction was a result of humanity's disconnection from spiritual truths and the natural world. The teachings emphasize that survival and spiritual advancement depend on living in harmony with the Earth, respecting all forms of life, and adhering to the sacred principles given by the Creator of the world, God. This reflects their understanding that human actions are closely linked to the balance of nature and the well-being of the Earth. Like the Bible talks about too, how we need God in our lives to live well, to be happy, healthy, and with peace. God is essential to our lives. The Hopi know this! The Hopi people believe that maintaining a connection with the divine is crucial for harmony in the world. They view spiritual neglect as a catalyst for chaos and destruction. According to their teachings, when humans disregard the spiritual laws set by the Creator, it leads to significant upheaval in both nature and society. Today we see the world in a big mess. So much greed, corruption, lawlessness, fraud, mediocrity, and wickedness. So many people are so consumed by materialism and things of this world. So many live godless lives, they have lost touch with the Divine! But we need to remember that God is in control! He wants us near to Him, to follow Him! To put all our trust in Him! If we want to save our planet and world, if we want peace and happiness, and God's healthy and well being, we need our connection with our Creator! Yes, we could learn a lot from the Hopi! We must have a divine connection with our Creator!

Today, approximately 18,000-20,000 enrolled Hopi tribal members maintain their cultural identity while navigating the complexities of modern American society. Most live on the Hopi Reservation, which encompasses about 1.5 million acres in northeastern Arizona, surrounded by the much larger Navajo.
