Lord Jesus, Today, there will surely be Things that I don’t understand: Why weather takes a turn for the worse When I long for just a gentle breeze; Why people turn to violence When hearts are meant for love; Why healing doesn’t always come When illness causes suffering. Today, I ask That You make my heart a place Of calm in the storm; That the peace which comes from You Be a gift that I share with others; That in times of suffering, I remain persistent in faith. Amen.

Yes, everyday there are things we do not understand! It is hard to understand evil, hate, negativity, violence. It is hard to understand people who are unhappy and living in misery. There is a lot of darkness in the world today. But God gave us Jesus, He is our light. He is who we are to follow, to reflect, to imitate, love, and forgive like. He is our gift every single day and He is our peace! Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life! We are called to follow Him, to turn it all over to God, accept We do not have to look far to find God. His will be done remaining faithful in Him alone, Jesus I trust in You!
