Blessed is the person who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord!

 

Thus says the Lord:

“Cursed is the man who trusts in man

And makes flesh his strength,

Whose heart departs from the Lord.

For he shall be like a shrub in the desert,

And shall not see when good comes,

But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness,

In a salt land which is not inhabited.

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,

And whose hope is the Lord."

~Jeremiah 17:5-7

Blessed is the person who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord! Don't trust humans! Don't trust government and elected or powers that be. They lie! They cheat, steal, commit fraud, and are selfish and greedy! Stay away from humans!  Turn from sin! Turn from hate and violence, follow Jesus and His model! Trust only in God alone!  A lot of humans lie and will always disappoint, God never will! Follow Jesus! Jesus is our ticket to Heaven when we trust in Him, when we follow, reflect, forgive like, imitate, and love like Him! Do not live for things of this world, money, power, titles, material goods, and flesh, do not become a slave for Satan. Live for God and follow Jesus! That is what we are called to do, and this was written in the Old Testament in Jeremiah. Trust in the Lord!
