Blessings abound as we grow closer to Christmas and the New Year! Just another wonderful week of blessings and peace! God is so good to me. The beach has been lovely when I went this week. A little rougher, but still so nice to enjoy. I love the waves and salt water, the healing it provides, you just feel so good. God is just a miracle worker for sure! I love my prayer time with God each day at the beach. It is healing and makes me connected to Him. I yearn to follow Jesus, and be more like Him! I was reading this week from my book by Billy Graham, Day by Day, and it was talking about how our world and all people could have peace on this Earth, if we all followed Jesus, became like Him, reflecting, forgiving, imitating, and loving like Him! He said it doesn't matter what color, creed, religion, or background we have, when we all convert to Christ, become like Him, be like Him, we can have peace here on Earth. What a blessing! Please pray for peace and conversion of all humans here on Earth, to find Jesus, to convert to Him, and His ways. He is the way, the truth, and the life! Our house is filled with Christmas decorations, everyday, new cards arrive. This week I even was informed by my old Chair and now Dean that I was given Professor Emeritus from my university where I worked for 28.5 years. That was a nice blessing and honor. God is so good for those who wait so patiently. I read once that it took Albert Einstein six years before his college or department granted him this distinction. I guess I was lucky it only took one year. My good friend and colleague Eileen and another nominated me and it is a blessing that they honored me this way after teaching for so many years and putting my heart and soul into my profession. I loved my career as an educator for the past almost 40 years. God has been so good to me. He brought my spouse back to the states so we could marry, not 11 years together here. He gave me wonderful parents, an great upbringing, 6 wonderful siblings, a great education, travels, being raised Catholic to know Jesus, and just so many publications, teaching awards, and accomplishments. I am blessed, and each day I come to the beach and talk to God, to pray, I thank Him for all His goodness in my life. I am blessed and so grateful to God for everything! Thank you Jesus, Heaven changes everything!
