Counting my blessings all the way to the beach and back!

 

I was counting my blessings all the way to the beach and back today! Just so Wabasso Beach blessed! God is so good to us! I have had a wonderful life, so many blessings. I had a wonderful childhood, great parents, 6 siblings, such a wholesome and beautiful life and upbringing. God was always with me. I thank my parents for raising us Catholic and to know Jesus. It is the blessing of my life, it has gotten me through so much! I was blessed in school to do fair, without having to work very hard, always passing, but not applying myself until I went to college. Then I worked hard, did well, and I was blessed with graduating from high school, community college, college with my B.S. then even being invited to work and get my Master's and Ph.D. and I hardly had to pay anything. I never had debt going to college, I paid my own way, working, saving, and I paid for it all with scholarships and assistantships, along with research and teaching assistantships. God provided, He blessed me so much. Then to travel and live overseas and teach in Mexico and Colombia. To meet my partners/friends, and then marry my life partner from Colombia and us to be able to live in the USA without anymore problems. It all worked out after a lot of waiting, prayers, and blessings from God. I was blessed to have a wonderful career as an educator for almost 40 years teaching math. I was blessed to publish over 100 peer-reviewed papers, book chapters, a book and then to present at so many conference, workshops, even in several countries. God was always with me guiding me, protecting me, keeping me safe. I love the beach. I try to go daily if I can. I love the ocean, the salt water, the waves, today and most of this week, the water was sensational, so calm, clean, and refreshing. I loved it and so grateful to God for it and my prayer time with Him! Yes, I love the beach, I love Jesus, and I am so grateful for all, I will keep counting my blessings, thanking God for all the goodness in my life, I know it all comes from Him!
