Do not love the world or the things of the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, sensual lust, enticement for the eyes, and a pretentious life, is not from the Father but is from the world. Yet the world and its enticement are passing away. But whoever does the will of God remains forever!

 

I am writing to you, children,

Do not love the world or the things of the world.

I so agree with this last part of this Bible verse above, so so true, Do not love the world or the things of the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, sensual lust, enticement for the eyes, and a pretentious life, is not from the Father but is from the world. Yet the world and its enticement are passing away. But whoever does the will of God remains forever! Today we see so many people living for this world, living as if there is no God, sinning and living for all things of this world like sex, drugs, alcohol, iPhones, social media likes, tattoos. title, power, greed, corruption, fraud, selfishness, everything me me me! It is sad to see. So few want you to talk about God, Jesus, the Bible, religion, if you do, you get ignored, cancelled, persecuted, or have your youtube access cancelled. Our world is something I agree with here with St. John, do not love this world. I know St. Paul also talks about this a lot as well in his writings. It is all about doing the will of God! Accepting His will, surrendering to Him, abandoning you life to Jesus. We are called to follow Jesus, to reflect, forgive, imitate, and love like Him! We need to stop sinning, but know Jesus forgives us, He died for our sins. We need to remember to conquer the evil one, to not fall to be a slave for Satan, to love Jesus, follow Him, and love like Him! God promises us life eternal in Heaven with Jesus, when we follow Him! It is all about the love of Christ! 

We have new law in the New Testament with Jesus, the old law no longer counts, Rabbi Schneider seems to always forget this in his rants on his show sometimes.
