Trust in the Lord, everything has been prepared for us! Jesus always knows what lies ahead for us on any road we take. He knows what every tomorrow will bring.

and said to them, “Go into the village ahead of you, and as soon as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, on which no one has ever sat. Untie it and bring it here.

- Mark 11:2

We need to trust in the Lord, everything has been prepared for us! Jesus always knows what lies ahead for us on any road we take. He knows what every tomorrow will bring. We need to trust Him! Just follow Him, we are called to reflect, forgive, imitate, and love like Him! We may not know our future, but if we live as God wants, we can trust in Him. In all my 62+ years of life, I know for years, God has guided me, been with me, got me through so much, I know He will keep doing it, I pray daily, read the Bible, go to church, and stay focused on Jesus the best I can. He has never disappointed me yet! I know He has it all planned out and He is not finished with me yet!

The Mornings With God App said, "Jesus always knows what lies ahead for us on any road we take. He knows what every tomorrow will bring. While we can’t predict a single day, He sees it all. Our lives are not random or accidental. The events and experiences of each day are part of His plan for us. We might meet someone by chance, and that meeting could change the course of our future. But Christ knew about it all along. Understanding this should give us confidence as we face each new day. Although we don’t know what the future holds—what challenges, duties, or sorrows may come—there is One who sees everything, and He is our Friend and Guide. If we are committed to following His will and trusting His guidance, we will find that everything has been prepared for us. Found at: https://www.youdevotion.com/mornings/december/3

It is funny how things have happened in my life, from a small child going to kindergarten, to growing up in the country with a big family and seven kids. I started working on a farm by my house at 13, didn't think I would go to college, I worked at a restaurant once I started driving and they wanted me to be a manager for them, I did the training, but knew I always wanted to be a teacher, so I went to college, and in four years started teaching, I met people who brought me to Cape Cod while I taught and worked there a few summers, there I met people who brought me to Mexico City, where I taught for four years, that lead me to my doctorate/Ph.D. where I was invited to go to the University of Alabama. After my three years of hard studies, I graduated and had three job offers, but liked Florida where I spend almost 30 years as a professor, I went o Alabama with my partner from Mexico, then got a job in Florida, where I met my spouse while just jogging down the street.  So many things have happened, which lead me to other things and people. I do not think it is a coincidence, I think it is God's timing, and He is leading, guiding, and instructing me to where I need to go. Since I retired from my job last December, I have had this inner urge to go back to live in Upstate NY close to all my family, I want to be back home where I grew up. I feel that it is my home where I will be buried after I pass on. I want to spend my last years as retired to be close to siblings, family, and all I knew growing up. I want to keep going to church, loving God, and following Jesus the best I can. I know Jesus knows what will happen to me and I know trusting Him in all, that my colt will always be tied up where Jesus says waiting for me and leading me to where I need to be!
