If anyone says, “I love God,” but hates his brother, he is a liar; for whoever does not love a brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen!

Beloved, we love God because

he first loved us. 

If anyone says, “I love God,”

but hates his brother, he is a liar;

for whoever does not love a brother whom he has seen 

cannot love God whom he has not seen. 

This is the commandment we have from him:

Whoever loves God must also love his brother.

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is begotten by God,

and everyone who loves the Father

loves also the one begotten by him. 

In this way we know that we love the children of God

when we love God and obey his commandments. 

For the love of God is this,

that we keep his commandments.

And his commandments are not burdensome,

for whoever is begotten by God conquers the world. 

And the victory that conquers the world is our faith.

If anyone says, “I love God,” but hates his brother, he is a liar; for whoever does not love a brother whom he has seen  cannot love God whom he has not seen. I so agree with this Bible verse from St. John, it was used as the first reading today at mass. Today we see so much hate. People let their hate blind them. There is no logic to their lawlessness and hate. They need our prayers! We were given to us Jesus, Emmanuel, our God with us, as our model, our example of how to live and how to love. We are called to follow Jesus, to reflect, forgive, imitate, and love like Jesus. Yes, the Commandments may be hard, but God wants us to respect them, so we all can get along, we need law and order. It is all about faith! Our country needs our prayers, so many have so much hate, TDS, and use violence and lawlessness to justify social justice, taking law into their hands. People do not have any logic today, they do not have any God, therefore, they have no love. I now some people, friends, family, loved one, colleagues who all suffer from TDS and hate, they have allowed their hate to profoundly impact their reasoning, they have become blinded by their hate, they like to act like they are Christians, but then hate and hate, then when you won't join their hate club, they cancel, ignore, and persecute you. It is sad to see so many unhappy, negative, and people living in so much misery. They hate and hate. Pray for all of them, that they can find Jesus and know love in their hearts. So do you say you love God, but hate your President or friend? Then you are a liar! Please get some help for your hate! Don't you know that love is necessary for salvation?
