Open our hearts, O Lord, to listen to the words of your Son! They said Jesus was out of his mind!
Jesus came with his disciples into the house.
Again the crowd gathered,
making it impossible for them even to eat.
When his relatives heard of this they set out to seize him,
for they said, “He is out of his mind.”

We need to open our hearts, O Lord, to listen to the words of Your Son! They said Jesus was out of his mind! Even relatives. Wow! Have anyone in your family, or friends, or others said you were out of your mind? Do people get annoyed with you when you talk about Jesus, God, the Bible, Religion, or sin? I know my family and people I know do. They even seem to hate me too, like some of them showed here in this Bible verse in Mark. A lot of people never want you to talk about sin, Jesus, the Bible, or anything like this. They are annoyed, their sin makes them feel guilty and when you say something, it triggers them, no one wants to feel guilty. Today so many are so offended if you talk about sin, excuses for sin, hate, violence, or their cancel culture. I know I have seen it all, I have been persecuted, hated, cancelled, and mistreated for talking about Jesus, even people who come here and read this blog, sin bothers people. Jesus spoke a lot about sin and loving all. We need to do what is right, be holy, sin less, and love more. We are called to follow Him! We are called to reflect, forgive, imitate, and love like Jesus! Jesus was sinless. He was innocent and pure. Yet, the haters wanted Him dead, like the Pharisees, who were imperfect and insecure, they were jealous, envious, and just plain insecure, they let their pride get the best of them, so they had Jesus murdered for no reason. Yet say Jesus was out of His mind. No, it is humans that are out of their mind, remember Jesus is Divine, He is God, He is Emmanuel, He came here on Earth to be with us, to show us how to live, to be, to love. Yes we rejected Him, and had Him murdered, like many do today, they reject, cancel, and hate Jesus. They also hate anyone who talks about Him or sin. Jesus wasn't crazy! He wasn't out of His mind! We are, we are insecure, jealous, envious, and let pride get in the way, it is our egos. We need to put them aside, accept Jesus for who He is, know that when we follow Him, with great faith, we are promised life eternal in Heaven with Him! What joy! Open our hearts, O Lord, to listen to the words of your Son!
