St. John, like Jesus, just keeps talking about Love!

 

Beloved:

Who indeed is the victor over the world

but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

This is the one who came through water and Blood, Jesus Christ,

not by water alone, but by water and Blood. 

The Spirit is the one who testifies,

and the Spirit is truth. 

So there are three who testify,

the Spirit, the water, and the Blood, 

and the three are of one accord. 

If we accept human testimony,

the testimony of God is surely greater. 

Now the testimony of God is this,

that he has testified on behalf of his Son. 

Whoever believes in the Son of God

has this testimony within himself.

Whoever does not believe God has made him a liar

by not believing the testimony God has given about his Son. 

And this is the testimony:

God gave us eternal life,

and this life is in his Son. 

Whoever possesses the Son has life;

whoever does not possess the Son of God does not have life.

I write these things to you so that you may know

that you have eternal life,

you who believe in the name of the Son of God.

St. John, like Jesus, just keeps talking about Love! All week long in the mass readings, the first reading was from St. John, He keeps hammering home on love. Repeating how God is love. God gave us Jesus out of love, to be our Savior for our sins out of love. And too that if we say we love God, but then hate, we are liars and not really loving, if we cannot love all peoples. Today we see so many with hate, negativity, violence, TDS, and derangement syndromes. So many people are possessed by demons, like we saw in the Bible and Jesus healed. He can heal people today. We need to pray to Him and follow Him, He can help us with our love problems. It really is all about love, not hate. Many today make so many excuses for sin and breaking the 10 Commandments and God's Statutes, they try to justify killing babies with abortion, breaking laws, supporting lawlessness, hating, hurting themselves and others. Excuses begone! People who hate need prayers and need Jesus. Like it says in John, Whoever does not believe God has made him a liar by not believing the testimony God has given about his Son. We need to be about love! To reflect and imitate Jesus, to love like Him! We can be victors in this world when we love all people, love like God!
