Are you trying to walk the Christian walk? If you follow Jesus like the quote says, you will soon find out that it is not easy. It is so true that the Christian life is a battleground, not a playground. But the victory belongs to the Spirit! We need to live in Spirt, for things in Heaven, for life eternal, not for things of this world! So many today become slaves for Satan, they live for things of this world, they become consumed by money, titles, material goods, they get greedy, corrupt, commit fraud, and fall into the wicked trap that the devil sets up for them to do bad. To hate, to be negative, to live in misery, committing violence, anger, making so many excuses for sin and hate, trying to justify evil acts, even like abortion, killing innocent, helpless, voiceless babies in the womb. They care more about saving rescue dogs that babies or human lives. Today we see so much lawlessness, especially recently with the lawlessness of illegal immigration, they make so many excuses for law breakers, they do not want any law or order and make so many excuses to justify it. We certainly are in a battleground for sure. We can see it, with the lawlessness and hate today, such a profound hate that it is even hard to understand or comprehend, a hate the other side doesn't even seem to understand why they hate, as if they are possessed by demons, like in the days of Jesus, He used to remove them from people. He can heal, cure, perform miracles. We need Jesus today more than ever. We are called to follow Him! To reflect, forgive, imitate, and love like Him! To live in Spirit, not for things of this world, but of Heaven for life eternal with Him! We need to love, getting to Heaven will be our victory when we love like Jesus!
