We should aim to do all the good we can with the life we’ve been given!
“O unbelieving and perverse generation!” Jesus replied. “How long must I remain with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring the boy here to Me.”
- Matthew 17:17
Yes, we should aim to do all the good we can with the life we’ve been given! From a child, we need to be like children to accept and love God, to follow Jesus, to be childlike and have that trust and faith in Him for all in our lives. There is an innocents to childhood that is so beautiful. God wants this from us always, to go to Him, to trust in Him, to know we can go to Him. Remember that Jesus taught that true greatness is found in childlikeness. We need to be more like children to include simplicity, trust, humility, and contentment which marks of true greatness as a person, not being an adult, with all the evil that adults do today, letting envy, pride, jealousy, and insecurities to mark them, along with greed, corruption, fraud, and mediocrity.
The Mornings With God App today said, "Visions are given to prepare us for work. After the Transfiguration, a father waited at the foot of the mountain with his troubled son, hoping for healing. While we are sitting in joy at the Lord’s table, someone nearby may be in great need. We often fail to help those in trouble because we don’t have enough faith. But Jesus, the Son of God, has unlimited power. We should aim to do all the good we can with the life we’ve been given. It’s wrong for us, with the abilities God has given, to settle for “contented insignificance.” The Master wants us to be great and do great things. But we often misunderstand what it means to be great. The disciples thought greatness came with high positions, but Jesus taught that true greatness is found in childlikeness. We are greatest when we’re unaware of it—simplicity, trust, humility, and contentment are marks of true greatness." Found at: https://www.youdevotion.com/mornings/january/15
God wants us to be great and do great things. But we often misunderstand what it means to be great! It is sad today so many are such slaves for Satan, this perverse generation, they fight the police and ICE, resisting, protesting, and being so violent and lawless supporting the lawless and rule breakers, against protecting good upright holy people. Today so many do not want law and order today, they make so many excuses for sin, hate, lawlessness, and violence. It is sad to see. Instead of standing up for sinners, lawless, and violent people, we need to stand up for people who are good with this life we are given. Be for the right, holy, and law abiding people. Today we see most elected in governments and countries, almost all elected are in it for themselves, not for the country or people they supposedly represent people. It is all about big salaries, self serving, and becoming greedy and corrupt. Almost all elected today are in it for themselves, not for who they supposedly represent. So many seem to be without God, they are adult slaves for Satan controlled by the devil. They put poor Martha Stewart in jail for insider trading, yet all the elected do it all the time like it is their right as our elected, they are corrupt. Our faith should be in Jesus, following rules and laws, doing what is upright and holy, not lawlessness, violence, and hate, they hated Jesus too, the same who had Him killed, should we be following this type of ruthless thugs? No be like children, be innocent, humble, simple, trust in the Lord, have faith and do that right thing as we live our lives. Do all the good you can while you walk this Earth School journey!
