Another Jesus miracle: The demon has gone out!
Jesus went to the district of Tyre.
He entered a house and wanted no one to know about it,
but he could not escape notice.
Soon a woman whose daughter had an unclean spirit heard about him.
She came and fell at his feet.
The woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by birth,
and she begged him to drive the demon out of her daughter.
He said to her, “Let the children be fed first.
For it is not right to take the food of the children
and throw it to the dogs.”
She replied and said to him,
“Lord, even the dogs under the table eat the children’s scraps.”
Then he said to her, “For saying this, you may go.
The demon has gone out of your daughter.”
When the woman went home, she found the child lying in bed
and the demon gone.
~Mark 7:24-30
Another Jesus miracle: The demon has gone out! Jesus can heal us! He can cure us of anything! He even can remove demons! Look what He did here in Mark in the Gospel reading today, He performed a miracle from afar, when the woman went home, she found the child lying in bed and the demon gone! Jesus cares! He wants to heal us! He already proved Himself time and time again. Yet, even today so many do not believe. They live for things of this world, become slaves for Satan, they hate, are negative, living in misery, not even wanting to know God, go to church, read the Bible, or get to know Jesus and what He can do for us. God gave us Jesus as our model, He is Emmanuel, God with us, we are called to follow, reflect, forgive, imitate, and love like Him! Miracles are real, the Bible shows so many miracles from God and Jesus! How is your faith? Will you let Jesus change your life and heal you?
