Do you know what it feels like to be cancelled, ignored, dismissed, and hated? Jesus did! I know I do too!

Do you know what it feels like to be cancelled, ignored, dismissed, and hated? Jesus did! I know I do too!  Today we live in odd times. Times where people ignore, hate, persecute, dismiss, avoid, and cancel you if they do not like what you say or stand for. Like in the times of Jesus, he offered hope and love, compassion and understanding, he healed, fed people, and listened, He really cared. Today we see the same thing, good, loving, caring people who have Jesus in their hearts who like law and order and following Jesus, who are Christians and conservatives, they are hated, cancelled, and even killed. Look what they did to poor Charlie Kirk this past year. Can you even imagine the hate it takes to do this? Then even some vile hateful professors spoke so hatefully about Mr. Kirk after he was assassinated. How evil can you be? Cancel culture is a real thing. I know, I have been there, I have been cancelled a lot, but colleagues and friends, acquaintances, and others just for who I am, what I saw, what I stand for, being Catholic, supporting the current president, and loving my God and my country. They even will say you are racist and fascist, clump you in so group, just because you prefer law and order and follow Jesus. How sad! I had a friend who I knew for 30 years, just cancel me, refuses to write back, respond, talk, call, email, anything, they obvious do not like my stance on the issues. Another who I knew was even a minister of a church, a preacher, but lost God, and told me they did not like that I was Catholic and supported President Trump, they have profound hate and TDS toward him, and do not like me talking about common sense, logic, and law and order which I like seeing today in this wayward world we are in now. Another friend, who was also a teacher wanted me to join in on her club of hate, but I refused, so I was cancelled, I won't join the hate club. I saw a lot of hate in my work the past several years, people who hated white American born people, they were insecure, jealous, and envious, so they hate, try to push all their CRT, DEI, and woke ideology knocking white people and saying it is their goal to dismantle white privilege. Sounds kind of racist to me. Just be cause I was born here in the USA, and they are foreign hires and had accents and darker skin. It is insecurities that make people cancel, hate, dismiss, avoid, and hate others. It is their jealousy and envy that they were not able to do the same as me. But God knows we are all different. He doesn't want us to hate others or discriminate because of this. I was talking to my aunt today and we spoke about this too, she said she saw it also in her work. A math teacher friend I know from a store I go to, she is now a cashier as a senior, was talking to me today about this as well. We were talking about how coworkers become jealous, envious, and insecure and then mistreat you when you have success at work, they do not like others getting teaching awards, praise, good yearly evaluations, and much success like I had with so many publications and teaching awards. People get jealous and envious for sure. I saw it a lot. They think you are goodie two shoes, it is all insecurities. Now too, I like law and order and I like following Jesus, I stick to my guns and principles on this, but it gets me cancelled, but I know that Jesus reminds us in the Bible with the Beatitudes that blessed are the persecuted for Jesus' namesake, for theirs is the kingdom of God! What a blessing! God certainly works in mysterious ways for sure. While it is disappointing to see people, and people who were friends be this way and cancel you, we need to pray for them, love them anyway, and know we are all human, we just need to try to love and strive to be more like Jesus with humility knowing that although some may mistreat us, when we follow Jesus, we will not be disappointed!
