LOVE: He who covers over an offense promotes love, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends!

He who covers over an offense promotes love, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends.

—Proverbs 17:9

Do you cover over an offense to promote love? Do you forgive? Do you love others and not hate anyone? Today we see so many people filled with so much hate. They let hate blind them, they make excuses for sin, lawlessness, and hate and try to justify why it is okay to hate a particular person or any law and order. They like to use words like racist, fascist, nazi, etc. for people who want law and order and goodness in our lives. They can be so demeaning and full of hate. They do not even care if they separate friends with their hate. Today cancel culture is so prevalent, especially with the liberal left.  They hate, are negative, and cancel people they do not agree with. If you do not align with their group think, you are cancelled for sure and even hated. I know I have had a hand full of past friends and acquaintances who have cancelled me because I won't join their club of hate or allow myself to have TDS and act so hateful and deranged. It is all about love! I was never raised knowing hate. Many people today do not know how to forgive, they are to quick to hate and cancel others, this is sad, and we need to pray for people like this. Today I went to a funeral of my friend Jane. She died last week at the age of 95. We met here at our church a few years ago. She attached herself to us, she was a very faithful friend, she always showed and imitated Jesus, she loved like Him! She used to introduce us to many other people at church, but almost all of them, would never have anything to do with us, they would ignore us, avoid us, pretend they never met us before, they were not like Jane. She was a faithful friend, she imitated and loved like Jesus always, we will miss her so much. We know she is now in a better place and at peace. The funeral her family and the church had for her today was so beautiful. I am glad I went and knew her, she was a good friend, she loved like Jesus, she imitated Him and I will never forget that. She never judged, assumed, or ignored us, she just loved us, she showed us Jesus and that is what we are all called to do, to love like Jesus! A friend loves at all times, I hope all the ones who canceled me read this and come to know Jesus better! And can also be more like my good and faithful friend Jane!
