May we never forget the affections of God! I love this quote/poem above, it is beautiful. A great reminder for all of us that God's hand in our lives is all that matters. His affections for us are so apparent when we count our blessings and reflect on His goodness! What a life I have had, just so blessed! I had an idyllic childhood in the country, Christian parents, 6 siblings, a wonderful upbringing, so much extended family, my faith, our farm, animals, neighbors, school, church, bikes, rivers, ponds, pool, snow outings, college, work, a chance for a master's and Ph.D. Almost 40 years as an educator, 28.5 as a professor in a university, so many publications, teaching awards, honors, accomplishments, friends, my spouse, opportunities, just so much, so much love too! Just so many favors from God, I am blessed by His grace and affection in my life beyond measure, His mercies and goodness are what I count daily in my prayers, just so grateful for all and know it is all through Him!
