I saw this quote today and it really resonated with me! Yes, the cross is the greatest revelation of the divine wisdom; in it, justice and mercy meet! Today many follow a woke ideology of social justice, but it is not a justice that is healthy, especially when the people are taking justice into their own hands with violence, hate, and corruption. We have heard a lot the past few weeks about all the corruption, some try to justify it all as if it is okay to do, out of some form of injustice they feel was imposed on them, with this oppressed oppressor mentality that some push today with all the DEI, CRT, trans, and woke ideology. It is not of Jesus or the cross though. It is not divine wisdom, it is an eye for an eye mentality, not where true justice and mercy meet. We need to be careful of this today, we see a lot of it, many on the liberal left, the anarchists like to push it, but it is flawed logic for sure. It is out of hate, revenge, jealousy, envy, insecurities, not out of love or God, Jesus brought us the true justice with Jesus on the cross. He was truly an innocent man murdered, killed for speaking the truth, for talking about love, repentance, and hope. The irony today, is some people who follow this social justice woke ideology would prefer to release a criminal like Barabbas instead of accepting the love of Jesus or following Him! Yes, the cross is the greatest revelation of the divine wisdom; in it, justice and mercy meet! It really is all about following Jesus, reflecting, forgiving, imitating, and loving like Him, this is where real justice and mercy meet when we are like Jesus!
