Vices like gambling, pot, alcohol, cigarettes, junk food, drugs, and sex are hurtful toward people and a society! Get high on Jesus!
I read an editorial recently in the local paper, they were complaining about the counties and state closing and raiding all of the illegal casinos and arcades in the area. They thought we should allow all of them to promote capitalisms. I do not agree with them, and think it only is another outlet to promote more vices and gambling that is hurtful toward people, families, and society as a while. So I say no to casinos and arcades, they promote vices and addictions, they hurt people and families. Many years ago, our country never had casinos, state lotto’s, and all this gambling we allow today in many states. We even had many dry counties in the south until recently. Our society has certainly declined considerably due to our government allowing and pushing so many vices, it is not healthy for our civilization, back in the 1920’s it caused a lot of problems, which lead to prohibition. Government does it for more taxes, but it honestly is not good for the people, population or society as a whole. It is as if they want all constituents to have an addiction to smoking, pot, gambling, sex, alcohol, junk food, etc. It is not normal to have unhealthy vices, nor healthy for anyone or society. A lot of people make a lot of excuses for sin and vices. Casinos and arcades are not healthy for any individual, all these online apps that promote vices and gambling too, they are hurtful and destroy families and individuals. If you know someone who has a gambling addiction in your family, you know how it can really destroy the fabric of a family, my spouse has an uncle with this vice, it has caused a lot of problems over the years. We need to go back to God, to follow Jesus, to live upright and holy lives without arcades/casinos, pot, alcohol, cigarettes, all of which is not healthy for any of us. Make getting into Heaven your number one priority and vice in life! Be grateful, prayerful, positive, loving, and joyful in the Lord! Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life! Get high on Jesus instead of some destructive vice like gambling!
