Don't complain against God! Just look to Jesus on the cross!

From Mount Hor the children of Israel set out on the Red Sea road,

to bypass the land of Edom.
But with their patience worn out by the journey,
the people complained against God and Moses,
“Why have you brought us up from Egypt to die in this desert,
where there is no food or water?
We are disgusted with this wretched food!”
In punishment the LORD sent among the people saraph serpents,
which bit the people so that many of them died.
Then the people came to Moses and said,
“We have sinned in complaining against the LORD and you.
Pray the LORD to take the serpents away from us.”
So Moses prayed for the people, and the LORD said to Moses,
“Make a saraph and mount it on a pole,
and whoever looks at it after being bitten will live.”
Moses accordingly made a bronze serpent and mounted it on a pole,
and whenever anyone who had been bitten by a serpent
looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.

~Numbers 21:4-9

Don't complain against God! Just look to Jesus on the cross! Today so many people are like the Jews when leaving Egypt. They grumble and complain, so full of so much hate, negativity, and living in misery. It is ugly to see such hateful and negative people. Especially the woke and ones with TDS that have allowed hate to consume them to the point of mental illness almost it seems. It is sad to see and they need our prayers. This mass reading was a good one to remind ourselves, there is a parallel reading in the New Testament We need to pray to God, to praise Him, to be positive, loving, and joyful in the Lord, to pray and count our blessings, we need to be grateful, not complain and grumble. We need to stop sinning against God! We need to follow Jesus! Look to Him on the cross, reflect, forgive, imitate, and love like Him! Looking to Jesus on the cross is like looking at the snake or saraph and we will be saved! Moses had to deal with a lot of negative, hateful, grumbling people in his time, and we have to see it today too by some people that are just so negative and complain all the time, like the deranged demonic demoncrats. Jesus is the only way to save us! Stop complaining, stop sinning, stop grumbling, and being negative, turn to Jesus! O Lord, hear my prayer, and let my cry come to you!
