God's law of love commands us to return good for evil. The way to treat our enemies is to love them and pray for them!

Ye have heard. ... But I say unto you [just love].

~Matthew 5:21-22

We need to remember that God's law of love commands us to return good for evil. The way to treat our enemies is to love them and pray for them! That is what I always try to do. I pray for all that hate me and cancel me, who mistreat me, the ones who are filled with hate, negativity, and living in misery who think it is their right to hate and cancel someone because they do not join their hate club or accept their un-Christian ways. That is what we are called to do. I was raised Catholic. We never knew hate in our home. My parents never hated anyone, so we never saw any hate projected toward anyone, which honestly was a blessing, but today we see so much hate, and if you do not join these clubs of hate, they hate and cancel you. They forget that we are supposed to love all!

The Mornings With God App today said, "Christ revealed deeper meanings in the commandments. Most people would agree that it’s wrong to murder. If that’s all the commandment requires, most people can say they’ve kept it. But Jesus explained that the commandment goes much further. If we are angry with someone or speak with contempt about them, we’ve broken the commandment. And if, while praying, we remember that we’ve wronged someone, we should first go and make things right before continuing with our prayer. All conflicts are harmful, and if we are in the wrong, we only harm ourselves by continuing the strife. Sinful thoughts are just as serious as sinful actions, so we must guard our hearts where desires and feelings are born. Many people believe they have the right to seek revenge when wronged, but that’s not Christ’s way. His law of love commands us to return good for evil. The way to treat our enemies is to love them and pray for them." Found at: https://www.youdevotion.com/mornings/march/8

While cancel culture can be really mean and hard to endure, it also gives us a chance who are hated and cancelled to pray for the people who have fallen into this pit of hate and negativity. I know I have known personally a handful of people or so that have become huge haters and just cancel you when you do not join their club. Even with my recent accident with some reckless impatient man backing into me while leaving church and he did a lot of damage to my car. While I forgive him, it has been so hard, he never paid me for the damage and then turned it over to his insurance company and it has been a real battle. They are ruthless and nasty, just so unfair, unethical and darn right dishonest. I am trusting in the Lord to get me through it all and it is handled fairly. I just do not want to hate or be consumed by the negativity of it all. I need to stick to my beliefs, I did get many estimates, and researched it all a lot and I will just have to be stern in pointing out their estimate is so low and has an error, mine are all  consistent and done in person and are more accurate, I will reject any low offers or settlements, and point out what the estimates I got say and that am not willing to settle for anything less than what I researched. It can cause stress and make me feel I do not like this insurance company, they have been very dehumanizing, nasty, and unprofessional, all I can do it just stay course and point out the facts of the estimates I will lean on. We need to try to do all with love, not let emotion get in the way. Not let hate and cancel culture take hold and hurt long 20-30 year old friendships, point out that love always wins over hate and being part of a hate club will never make a person happy in life. All we can do is love all people and pray for everyone and every situation! God wants us to return good for evil!
