Hate is sin.

This morning when I was watching the Les Feldick Ministry show he was talking about hate. He was making comparisons about the word hate in the New Testament and Old Testament. He showed how the word hate was used by Jesus, but to distinguish between making strong comparables. He also made the same in Malachi when God talked about hate, but only to show he favored Jacob more than Esau. Les was saying that the word hate was used in the Bible, but not the way we use it today, it is used more to dramatize a difference or distinction between something much greater they like than an other. Les said that God would never hate. He does not hate anything or anyone. Les said that hate is sin! I agree, like impatience, it is a sin too, when someone hates or is impatient it can cause a lot of problems toward another person. Hate is not healthy. We see a lot of it today. Some people bring their hate to their grave. They live with negativity and in misery. Hate makes people ugly for sure. Yes, it is sin Les. I pray for all the haters daily. Today at the beach I did, I know a few. I know about a handful of friends that are so full of hate, TDS, negativity, and living in misery. They want me to join their clubs of hate, but I won't so I have been cancelled, but it is okay. I know God loves me and He would never hate me. He wants us to love like Jesus! He gave us Jesus as our model, our example, He is Emmanuel, our God with us. We are called to follow Jesus, to reflect, forgive, imitate, and love like Him! Love is not a sin, but hate is! So please stop hating and turn to Jesus!
