Rest in peace our true and faithful friend Jane Graham! She followed, reflected, forgave, imitated, and loved like Jesus! Jane was a very special person, and our friend! She was going to be 96 this year. She sat behind us at church and quickly became our friend. A true and faithful friend. Her husband passed in 2017, but she lived on in faith. She shadowed Father John and when we first met her, they both were always at the front door of the church greeting us, being kind, showing love. Father John was like Jane too, he reflected Jesus. He used to invite us to his happy hours after mass and Jane was always there. He was love. Ironically, while both Jane and Father John always showed love like Jesus, most others didn't. Jane used to introduce us to all her friends and others at church, but most never wanted anything to do with us, She would introduce us, but then the next time we saw them they would ignore us completely, want nothing to do with us. Sometimes the church is like that, some people are inconvenient to others, the Catholic Church is like this a lot to the marginalized for sure. Jane was all love, she was consistent and loving, true and faithful. We will never forget her. We used to go out to eat with her, visit her at home, bring her flowers, and exchange cards at Christmas and birthdays. I even gave her a few rosaries, one she used to wear a lot at church, it was a fall colored rosary made with acai seeds from Colombia, her birthday was the same day, Halloween, like that of my Mother-in-law. Jane was love, she had her pains and health issues, but never complained much. What I loved about Jane was she was like an old friend from so many years ago, although we just met her three or four years ago. She was faithful, true, and she imitated and reflected Jesus, she loved like Jesus when others wanted nothing to do with us. I pray for her soul, that she rests in peace, is united with her husband Bill, and they are now always be at peace in the arms of Jesus Christ!  Her funeral was beautiful. I saw our mutual friend Cheryl there who lived close to Jane, and Richard one of the ushers who was always kind and friendly. I searched and searched but could not find an obituary for Jane yet, so wanted to write this as a tribute to her memory and give her a tribute she rightly deserves! Jane was love!  Thank you Jesus, Heaven changes everything! Thank you for bringing Jane into our lives!
