The best angle to solve any problem is the try-angle!

What have I learnt where’er I’ve been,
From all I’ve heard, from all I’ve seen?
What know I more that’s worth the knowing?
What have I done that’s worth the doing?
What have I sought that I should shun?
What duties have I left undone?

—Pythagoras

The best angle to solve any problem is the try-angle! I have always tried all my life, in my career and all I have done in life! I tried to do my best. As a math educator, I have always loved Pythagoras. I have included a lot of his work in my writing and research. I love the connection between geometry, measurement, and algebra, and that is what the famous Pythagorean Theorem is all about, that connection. I have learned a lot. Had a blessed career as a math educator for almost 40 years. I won many teaching awards, published over 100 peer-reviewed papers, presented at hundreds of conferences, workshops, and presentations, even many in other countries. I have had a blessed career and life, a life of service to students, and the community as a whole. God has blessed me greatly! While I still continue to write, and will do so as long as I can, I try to focus more on God and my faith, and bringing people to Jesus. I liked this quote by Pythagoras, I had never seen this one before. It is a good reminder for all of us as we go about our Earth School journey, something many of us who have retired may ask ourselves. All God asks us to do is try!  Anything undone? Any regrets? Did you love everyone? Are you following Jesus? That is what God wants us to do!
