Enjoy your present joys from God!

It is not for you to know the times or the seasons.

- Acts 1:7

This is the problem with the world today, we want to know everything and have constant gratification with all. We forget about God and that He is in control and we should not disregard this fact. It is nice to pray for wisdom, but it is God's to give, we cannot control all, others, or the world. This is why humans disappoint so much, they try to and want to, but only God knows and can know the future for all!

The Mornings With God app today said, "The disciples were eager to know the future, hoping for a clear plan or chart for the coming years. They were inclined toward speculation. Jesus taught them that such knowledge wasn’t theirs to have; the times and seasons were under the Father’s authority, not theirs to worry about. This is an important lesson for all of us. Some things are better left unknown. In fact, it’s a mercy that we can’t see the future. If we could see the sorrows, struggles, and trials that await us, it would cast a shadow over our present joys. We need to enjoy our present joys from God! Not think we need to know all. Like the future or where God will bring us in life. We need to trust in Him! Let Him guide, lead, instruct, and bring us where we need to be in life, believing that He knows best for us, trusting in His wisdom and grace. Yes, Jesus taught others that such knowledge wasn’t theirs to have; the times and seasons were under the Father’s authority, not theirs to worry about. This is an important lesson for all of us today! God wants us to lean on Him! To follow Jesus, to model the example Jesus gave us, and imitate and love like Him! If we do, we can leave the rest up to God to bring us to life eternal in Heaven with Him! We need to learn to enjoy our present joys! Stay joyful in the Lord always! That is what God wants for us!
