We ought to thank God daily for the sins we have not committed!

What an amazing, what a blessed disproportion between the evil we do, and the evil we are capable of doing, and seem sometimes on the very verge of doing! If my soul has grown tares, when it was full of the seeds of nightshade, how happy ought I to be! And that the tares have not wholly strangled the wheat, what a wonder it is! We ought to thank God daily for the sins we have not committed.

—F. W. Faber

Sin! Today no one wants you to talk about sin, they make so many excuses for sin, trying to justify it all as acceptable. Then we wonder why we have so many problems in our society today. What sins do you commit or have committed? Or have thought about doing like is mentioned in this quote above? Today so many do so many awful things. We see it in the news daily. Just so much sin! So many excuses. Yet, no one wants you to talk about Jesus, the Bible, God, the Ten Commandments, religion, they make so many excuses for sin and hate, trying to justify it all, like with abortion, or lawlessness. They try to make the acceptable using an argument of social justice. Like this is right, two wrongs do not make a right. An eye for an eye is a flawed argument. It is all about love, following Jesus, and practicing His example, repent from sin, turn to Jesus, follow Him! Stop making so many excuses for sin and hate!  Thank God daily for the sins you did not commit!
