Are you performing the smaller duties well and with a good attitude?

True, we can never be at peace till we have performed the highest duty of all,—till we have arisen, and gone to our Father; but the performance of smaller duties, yes, even of the smallest, will do more to give us temporary repose, will act more as healthful anodynes, than the greatest joys that can come to us from any other quarter.

Are you performing the smaller duties well and with a good attitude? Life sure is tough! We are dealt some really challenging things in this life. And other people more so. People can be difficult and cause a lot of stress. Whether from work, home, church, in the store, on the road, wherever we go, the smallest duties of life. We need to handle all with a good attitude. We need to be like Jesus. To try to love all, to follow, reflect, forgive, imitate, and love like Jesus to all. Even when people hate you, cancel you, call you evil names. I saw on the TV news today, some call others, like the democrats, they call all others fascist. It seems really nasty. To pinpoint and name call, using such harsh and hateful words, it is almost as if they are not self-examining themselves with all their hate toward others, being worse than the people they judge and hate so much. We all need to try to love all, be like Jesus, forgive, and imitate, and love like Him! He is our model, our example. If we want to peace, we need to perform the smaller duties here on Earth first with love, before we can be able to perform the greater duty of God asking us to arise to Heaven to be with Him. It is all about loving like Jesus here!
