Sin!

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

- Palms 32:1

Sin! We need to stop sinning! We need to stop making so many excuses for sin, lawlessness, and hate! We see so much of it today! While we know if we repent, we will be forgiven, as Jesus came and died for our sins, but we need to repent, turn from sin, and stop sinning! Out of the love of Jesus, we need to stop sinning!

The Mornings With God App today said, "This beatitude doesn’t say, “Blessed is the sinless person,” but rather, “Blessed is the sinner who is forgiven.” Unforgiven sin is like a heavy burden on a life. But once we are forgiven, we experience all the joy and peace that comes with it. We become God’s children, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, with the promise of eternal life. God covers our sins, putting them out of sight forever—out of our sight, out of the world’s sight, and out of His sight. He says He will remember our sins no more. This covering is complete and final because it’s based on an atonement made by someone else. Just forgetting that I owe a debt doesn’t make it disappear. But when someone else pays it for me, the debt is truly settled. “We all, like sheep, have gone astray… and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” If our sins were placed on Jesus, they are covered forever and will never be held against us." Although God gave us Jesus to die for our sins and paid the debt, yes our sins are forgiven, we need to not keep sinning and making excuses for sin, hate, and lawlessness. We need to repent, to turn away from sin, and try to be more like Jesus, to follow, reflect, forgive, imitate, and love like Him! And not sin at all! Today many people never want you to talk about sin. They make so many excuses for it all. Sin whether swearing, fornication, hate, greed, corruption, fraud, abortion, vices, just so many sins, and we make so many excuses for them all! God wants us to take responsibility for our actions, to turn from sin, and to love all, like Jesus talked about, it is all about love for others, when we love, we do not want to sin and hurt others, we need to turn from sin, hate, and lawlessness and repent, turn to Jesus and follow Him!
