Love my ginger pie!

 

I love my ginger pie! I heard in a movie recently about this pie. I had never heard of it before. I looked it up and found many recipes. This one sounded really good! It was easy to make. It is like a custard pie with egg. I love it! Very nice! If I made it again, I would add some cream cheese and make it a little more like a ginger cheesecake. I used fresh ginger, it really gave it a wonderful taste. I also used brown sugar and some maple syrup too. I used ginger snaps for the crust, but you could also use a traditional flour crust if you wanted to. It really is nice and light. I would be good with some cream or ice cream too on top. I really enjoyed it and love trying new a different things! I recommend this one, very nice taste!
