No one likes to talk about it, we all cover it up, but we need to talk about sin, we need to stop sinning and making so many excuses for sin!

There is none righteous, no, not one.

No one likes to talk about it, we all cover it up, but we need to talk about sin, we need to stop sinning and making so many excuses for sin! So many today try to justify their sin and the sins of this world, so many excuses. The same people care more about saving rescue dogs over innocent, helpless, voiceless babies in the womb. Today in the Mornings with God App they were talking about it again. It is so true. I see it in many of the famous prosperity minister preaching and TV shows, they never talk about sin. They like to act like sin is not something they need to talk about. But sin is what we all need to talk about and take seriously. Sin in our lives matters, it holds us down, it prevents us from really being close to God, to getting into Heaven. It holds us back! We are called to follow Jesus, to reflect, forgive, imitate, and love like Him! We are called to turn from sin, to repent, to have great faith and follow Jesus, if we do, we are promised life eternal in Heaven with our Maker!

The Mornings With God App today said, "A preacher once shared how an officer of his church told him that in today’s age of intelligence and liberal thinking, it’s better not to preach about sin. This chapter from Romans would likely be ruled out in that church, considered unfit for the pulpit. But the chapter remains in the Bible, and it will be relevant for a long time. If there were no sin, there would be no need for Christ’s redemption. We are all sinners! If we continue to sin, make excuses for it, and never do anything about it as individuals and a society, we are doomed. Sin matters to God! We cannot keep ignoring it. Killing babies. Abusing drugs. Killing others. Stealing, fraud, corruption. Hate. All this sin prevents us from getting into Heaven. We are called to follow Jesus. To stop sinning. Jesus died for our sins, we can go to Him for forgiveness, He will forgive us, but we need to repent, turn from sin, and follow Jesus, live more like Him the best we can. Sin leaves us without hope! God gave us Jesus, to give us hope, He died for our sins, when we turn from sin, when we follow Jesus, when we imitate and love like Him, stop sinning and hating, and start loving and living like Jesus, we are promised life eternal in Heaven with Him! Jesus is the only way to Heaven, we must turn to Him, He can save us, turn from sin and hate, and love like Jesus, be like Jesus! Yes, we need to talk about sin! We need to turn from sin! We need to follow Jesus!
