Take pride in yourself first, save your soul, over being proud about things of this world!

We as human beings and children of God need to take pride in ourselves first, save our souls, over being proud about things of this world! Today we see so many people, they are so prideful of things of this world, they want a perfect house, pristinely groomed yard, a clean car, a Ph.D, so many are consumed by titles, presentation, and material things of this world. They want to be pretentious and put on airs for things of this world. Yet, the same people that are so proud, they use the F-word nonstop, smoke pot, are loud, and have so many vices and sins. I am sure God wants us to work on ourselves first, to not swear, to not use drugs, pot, vices, etc. He wants us to save our souls! To be like Jesus, to live like Jesus! We are called to follow Jesus, God gave Him to us as a gift, He is Emmanuel, our God with us and we are called to follow Him! To reflect, forgive, imitate, and love like Him! Using the F-word nonstop, being wasted on pot, or whatever other sin or vice you have is not going to help you save your soul! Only following Jesus will! The same people who take so much pride in their house, yard, car, etc., they like to judge others around them for not being like them, yet do not look in their own beam or log in their own eyes, they judge others for not having a pristine well manicured mowed lawn, instead, but forget about their log in their own eye with all the F-bombs, pot, and loudness, they forget about the huge container they have in their own backyard. I am sure God would prefer us more imperfect, but trying to be more like Him, not living for things of this world, or using so much profanity and being wasted on pot all the time. Are you living your life in an upright way for Jesus? Trying to save your soul? Are you making a lot of excuses for sin and hate, trying to justify it all? Do you promote abortion and killing babies, swear a lot, hate, cancel others, and live for things of this world, instead of for Jesus and life eternal in Heaven with Him? I don't think Jesus would waste his time smoking pot to be high, or swear and use the F-word, or be pretentious with his house and yard, those are all things of this world, He lived for something higher, Heaven! Save your soul! Follow Jesus! Be conscious enough to live a soul aligned life!
