As God leads me, will I go,— Nor choose my way; Let Him choose the joy or woe Of every day: They cannot hurt my soul, Because in His control: I leave to Him the whole,— His children may!

The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: Thy mercy, O Lord, endureth forever: forsake not the--works of Thine own hands.

— Psalm 138:8

As God leads me, will I go,—
Nor choose my way;
Let Him choose the joy or woe
Of every day:
They cannot hurt my soul,
Because in His control:
I leave to Him the whole,—
His children may.

—L. Gedicke

I love this quote and Bible verse! I am always reminded most days in my Bible readings and church/mass readings and religious readings, to always accept the will of God daily in my life! I so agree! I always say a prayer, using the St. Anthony Prayer when looking at St. Anthony holding baby Jesus, and in the prayer it references St. Anthony whispering in the ear of Jesus, I always say and think at this time to ask God to lead me, guide me, instruct me, to bring me where I need to be and to always accept His will be done in my life! We are all blessed! Whether you chose to live a blessed life or not is up to each one of us. I try to stay grateful daily, I pray for others so much and this world, I want to stay positive, loving, and joyful in the Lord always the best I can. I know some others who live this way, it is the right way, the Godly way. Some instead decide to live ungrateful, have self-pity, are negative, full of hate, and live in misery, they choose their temperament of joy or woe. We all do! I choose to follow Jesus, to try my best to reflect, forgive, imitate, and love like Him! To accept God's will be done in my life.  Will you let Him lead you? Yes, the Lord will perfect that which concerneth me!
