It is a life of faith, that makes one a Christian!

It is a life of faith, that makes one a Christian! Not rituals. While going to church and praying help a lot, all the rituals never work without faith. It is sad to see so many without faith today. I was reading a book by Billy Graham about peace, my father always liked watching him and reading his books. He was talking in the book about how all the wealthy industrial men of the 1920's had so much, they had knowledge, wealth, and fame. But when the great depression hit and the big fall of the stock market, so many lost it all. It talked about how the men who had their faith and had been following Jesus, they all ended up fine, even if they were poor and lost it all, they survived. It was saying that many who were atheist or did not believe many committed suicide. They did not have Jesus. The greatest ritual we can have is faith in Jesus and following Him! We are called to reflect, forgive, imitate, and love like Him! That is what matters! To believe, to have faith. To turn from sin, and follow Jesus, then we know we are promised life eternal in Heaven with Jesus with our faith!

Do you believe in Jesus Christ and live a life of love like Him? That is our true calling! Faith in Him! Loving like Him! That is what God wants our ritual to be, our faith in Jesus! We are called to follow Him, to reflect, forgive, imitate, and love like Him! Don't let outward rituals drive you, today we see so many they love to keep up appearances, they have a perfectly manicured lawn, home, washed cars, a boat and RV in the driveway, they want to show how rich they are, but then they are always smoking pot, using the F word nonstop when they talk, and are loud and desperate for attention and keeping up appearances, they care about things of this world, but not about saving their souls, it is sad to see. We need to decide our inner and outer lives! Will you have faith in Jesus and follow Him or things of this world? Faith in Jesus is the key!
