For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain!

For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

I loved the Mornings with God reminder again today. It is what I talk about each day. We need to live like Jesus! When we do, we gain in death, having life eternal in Heaven with Him! It is worth it! God gave us Jesus to follow, to reflect, forgive, imitate, and love like Him! When we do, with great faith, turning from sin, are promised life eternal in Heaven with our Maker!

The Mornings with God App today said, "Paul’s words give us a powerful motto for life: “To me, to live is Christ.” Many people could not honestly say the same. Some might say, “To me, to live is to make money,” or “to indulge my desires.” Every Christian should be able to say, “To me, to live is Christ.” This means that the purpose of our lives is to honor Christ, serve Him, do His will, love Him, and advance His kingdom. When we live this way, we accept whatever use Christ makes of our life. If He calls us to work, we do it gladly. If He asks us to suffer, we accept it without complaint. If He changes our plans, we trust Him. Whether He leads us through joy or sorrow, we know that His will is best. Our life belongs to Him, and whatever pleases Him is right." I know I repeat myself daily on this blog, I share daily Bible verses, they are all geared to reach us and remind us we are called to follow our model, Jesus that gave to all of us. He is the way, the truth, and the life, He is the only way to Heaven! While life brings suffering, following Jesus, carrying our cross for Him, it is not easy, but it does bring Heavenly rewards that are worth it!
