Sin, it is something no one wants you to talk about, but what everyone wants to do, it is hurting the fabric of our society and world!

Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

If we wish to overcome evil, we must overcome it by good. There are doubtless many ways of overcoming the evil in our own hearts, but the simplest, easiest, most universal, is to overcome it by active occupation in some good word or work. The best antidote against evil of all kinds, against the evil thoughts which haunt the soul, against the needless perplexities which distract the conscience, is to keep hold of the good we have. Impure thoughts will not stand against pure words, and prayers, and deeds. Little doubts will not avail against great certainties. Fix your affections on things above, and then you will be less and less troubled by the cares, the temptations, the troubles of things on earth.

Sin, it is something no one wants you to talk about today in society, but what everyone wants to do, it is hurting the fabric of our society and world! Today we see so many excuses for sin, hate, lawlessness, and evil. Always trying to justify why it is okay to break a law, rule, or do something lawless. Making excuses for sin, like abortion, killing others, and hating on people. The demonization of some today is just awful, along with all the cancel culture. It you do not join the club of hate, you are cancelled. So many are focused on things of this world, they live for the flesh, money, material things, titles, power, and then become greedy, corrupt, commit fraud, and do so much evil, that is when sin creeps in. We need Jesus to keep us in check. He died for our sins. When we remember that and try to live without sin, hate, lawlessness, and evil, and think and be the good, then we are doing what Jesus wants. We need to follow Jesus, to reflect, forgive, imitate, and love like Him! When we do, we sin less, we love more, and we need to keep hold of the good we have! It is all up to each of us!
