We too can show Christ’s love just as much in simple, everyday acts of kindness as we would in performing grand miracles like Jesus did!
This beginning of miracles did Jesus,... and manifested forth His glory.
~John 2:11
We too can show Christ’s love just as much in simple, everyday acts of kindness as we would in performing grand miracles like Jesus did! All it takes is kindness, showing any act of kindness, this in itself can be a miracle for others, it is as easy as that, to be kind. To show love. To do something nice! That is all it takes!
The Mornings With God App today said, "It’s said that in performing His first miracle, Jesus “manifested His glory.” The glory was always there—His divine power—but this was the moment it was first revealed. In this case, His glory was shown through a simple act of kindness. At a wedding feast, the host ran out of wine. Imagine his embarrassment—how could he explain this to his guests? Jesus stepped in and used His divine power to turn water into wine, saving the host from shame. The glory of Christ was just as evident in His small acts of kindness—such as comforting the sorrowful or blessing little children—as it was in His great miracles, like raising the dead. In the same way, we show Christ’s love just as much in simple, everyday acts of kindness as we would in performing grand deeds." Cited and found at: https://www.youdevotion.com/mornings/october/25
Jesus began his miracles with an act of kindness as is mentioned above from the Mornings with God App today. That is all it took! We too can perform acts of kindness too like Jesus, it doesn't take that much to be kind and loving to another person. While sometimes I know, your love and kindness is not always appreciated or reciprocated, St. Mother Teresa says do it anyway. I always try to. I write, email, call, text, some people ignore you, some will not write back, some never say thank you or acknowledge you, but we need to remember to do it anyway, not expecting a reply or thank you. We can manifest our glory too, by being loving and kind to others, not expecting anything in return. This in itself can be a miracle whether we realize it or not. We need to learn to follow Jesus, to reflect, forgive, imitate, and love like Him! To show kindness, to be a miracle worker with our good intentions, not expecting anything in return. Remember that Jesus performed miracles healing some who never even came back to thank Him! This blog is about the miracles of God, I like to share anything that talks about miracles, as they are all around us. We are miracles of God, each one of us. We are called to be love to others, to be kind, to show love, no matter what, performing the miracles like Jesus did even when sometimes no one says thank you. We are just called to show everyday acts of kindness, Christ's love!
