The grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant: Christ saved the worst of sinners so that others might have confidence when seeking mercy. Each one of us should also marvel at being saved, for none of us is worthy.

The grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant.

~1 Timothy1:14

Do you feel like God has divine grace for you like He did for Paul to save him? He is, all we need to do is follow Jesus! Paul found this out well. He then became His best defender in Christ, he persecuted Jesus, then was saved and promoted Jesus until his death. Will you do the same? We are shown mercy everyday by God! He is so good to all of us, we just need to look for it, notice it, see it all around us. We are blessed beyond measure, give Him thanks! Follow Jesus, our example of the love God wants us to be like!

The Mornings With God App today said, "Someone once said that the greatest wonder of divine grace was that he himself had been saved. Paul seems to have felt the same amazement about himself. He had been a blasphemer and persecutor, yet Christ chose him for His service. This shows the abundance of Christ’s grace. Paul also explained why he had been shown mercy: “I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display His immense patience as an example for those who would believe in Him.” In other words, Paul’s forgiveness was to show that no sinner is beyond hope. If Paul, after all he had done against Christ, could be forgiven, anyone can be forgiven. Christ saved the worst of sinners so that others might have confidence when seeking mercy. Each one of us should also marvel at being saved, for none of us is worthy." Cited and found at: https://www.youdevotion.com/mornings/november/1

If Jesus could save Paul and convert him to be his best defender, then think about what Jesus can do for you in your life! We are all called to be like Jesus, God gave Him to us as our example, our model, He is Emmanuel, God with us, we are called to follow Him! To reflect, forgive, imitate, and love like Him! We are promised life eternal in Heaven with Jesus when we follow Him, when we turn from all sin, when we believe and trust in Him, life eternal in Heaven is ours, what a blessing! None of us are worthy, we all sin, we have all done bad things, but we can change, turn from sin, hate, persecution, lawlessness, and evil, and follow Jesus, be more like Him, and love more like Him! His grace can be ours too, when we put all our trust in Him! We need to live our lives for God!
