God Reigns: Only Put God on a Pedestal Here on Earth! Ponder Nothing Eartly-Minded!

 

I love the song Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence! Some of the words really echo with me:

"...Ponder nothing earthly-minded,

For with blessing in his hand,

Christ our God to earth descendeth,

Our full homage to demand..."

We as humans need to put our faith and trust in God and not ponder things of this earthly world, nothing earthly-minded. We are only here temporarily to learn, in our Earth School, to serve, and then to move on to eternity with God. Often the reign of God means a peaceful world where the loving and just rule of God is fully accomplished, this is in Heaven. We often put too much into this Earthly world, get consumed by material goods, wealth, politicians, goals, moving up, trying so hard to be successful, but this is not what God wants. We get so far from God and what He wants for us. We forget about His purpose for us here on Earth and beyond. He wants us to be part of His life!  The goodness of God can miraculously make you reign too, when you put your focus and trust in God, have faith in Him and be a victor in Christ not a victim of this Earth and world. We need to honor God, trust in God, have faith in His reign that peace and victory will be part of our lives too. Ponder nothing earthly-minded! Put your full trust in God and see all of His blessings and miracles come to fruition!
