The Wedding at Cana: One of the First Miracles Jesus Performed! He Wants to Be Married To Us! United with Him!

Miracles abound with Jesus! His first miracle had a profound message! He wants to be married to us! His love and mercy are never ending! He will always provide! He wants us to be united with Him! We cannot be independent of God! God is never going to let the wine run out on us! What a miracle! Have a mindset of abundance. Never settle for mediocrity. God has so much more than just a cup mentality, he has a never ending flow of wine for us during our marriage with Him! He wants us to be part of Him always during this Earthly world and in Heaven for eternity. Let the Holy Spirit live in you. Use His gifts he has given you! Be filled by His Spirit.   Receive all the gifts from God! Faith, hope, and love, and the greatest is love!  Like St. John Bosco always said as he went in a hurried way, he is on his way to Heaven! We all need to live this way, our main mission in life is to get to Heaven, live a Godly, Holy, Saintly, life here on Earth, do good, be good, and be a disciple for Christ while on Earth and know your ultimately goal is to be married with Jesus and to live in eternity with Him in Heaven! His miracles and blessing are never ending on this Earth when we walk in union with Him always! I do Jesus!

First Reading from Mass Today
ISAIAH 62:1-5

"About Zion I will not be silent,
about Jerusalem I will not grow weary,
until her integrity shines out like the dawn
and her salvation flames like a torch.
The nations then will see your integrity,
all the kings your glory,
and you will be called by a new name,
one which the mouth of the Lord will confer.
You are to be a crown of splendor in the hand of the Lord,
a princely diadem in the hand of your God;
no longer are you to be named ‘Forsaken’,
nor your land ‘Abandoned’,
but you shall be called ‘My Delight’
and your land ‘The Wedded’;
for the Lord takes delight in you
and your land will have its wedding.
Like a young man marrying a virgin,
so will the one who built you wed you,
and as the bridegroom rejoices in his bride,
so will your God rejoice in you."

I love this reading! It sums up in a beautiful way how much God loves each one of us! What a blessing!

Today's Gospel Reading
JOHN 2:1-11

"There was a wedding at Cana in Galilee. The mother of Jesus was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited. When they ran out of wine, since the wine provided for the wedding was all finished, the mother of Jesus said to him, ‘They have no wine.’ Jesus said ‘Woman, why turn to me? My hour has not come yet.’ His mother said to the servants, ‘Do whatever he tells you.’ There were six stone water jars standing there, meant for the ablutions that are customary among the Jews: each could hold twenty or thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants, ‘Fill the jars with water’, and they filled them to the brim. ‘Draw some out now’ he told them ‘and take it to the steward.’ They did this; the steward tasted the water, and it had turned into wine. Having no idea where it came from – only the servants who had drawn the water knew – the steward called the bridegroom and said, ‘People generally serve the best wine first, and keep the cheaper sort till the guests have had plenty to drink; but you have kept the best wine till now.’
This was the first of the signs given by Jesus: it was given at Cana in Galilee. He let his glory be seen, and his disciples believed in him."

God's miracles are endless! His love is a never ending flow of wine for His bride!

I love this song they sang at mass this week! We need to set our hearts on higher gifts, on the things that come from our maker in Heaven! He wants to be married with us, united, His gifts are never ending, flowing like wine, giving the best to you always.

Set Your Heart on Higher Gifts Lyrics

Refrain:
Set your heart on the higher gifts
On the things that come from your maker in heaven
These three gifts are all that remain faith
Hope and love and the greatest is love

Verse 1
If I speak with the tongues of the living
And of angels, but speak without love
I am the only brass without song
An empty noise on the wind

Verse 2
And if I understand every mystery
Having wisdom, but think without love
Had I faith to scatter the hills
I am nothing at all

Verse 3
And if I should renounce all my riches
Feed the hungry, give over my life
Without love my profit is loss
My caring finds no reward

It is beautifully song here on GodTube at:
