More Blessed When We Remain Silent!

The one who has knowledge uses words with restraint, and whoever has understanding is even-tempered. Even fools are thought wise if they keep silent, and discerning if they hold their tongues.

-Proverbs 17:27-28

I am learning and trying to not over react or speak out, especially when I see some injustice or bad thing, at work we were promised something, that it comes to find out was misleading and deceptive and not true at all, they use words like additional and bonus and make it sounds like we were really getting double of a pay increase than what we really received. I just decided instead of writing back to say it was misleading or deceptive, it is best to not say anything, stay silent, not write back, or react, like previous posts I have put here, people lie, the devil has the best of so many and so many like to exasperate the truth and make things look better than they really are, so to make it look like they are working so hard, but it is all lies, misleading, deceptive, it happens all the time, people lie, not God.  In the Bible the scripture say to us that sometimes silence can help us avoid sinning (Proverbs 10:19), gain respect (Proverbs 11:12), and is deemed wise and intelligent (Proverbs 17:28). Hence, one may be more blessed by holding your tongue and not saying anything or reacting quickly with hurtful words. Ultimately, refraining from speaking in certain situations means we are practicing self-control which is so important today. Silence is true wisdom's best reply often times. There are many Bible verses that speak about this! It is important that we can refrain from speaking, be more self-controlled, and realize that humans lie, they mislead, they deceive and we really can only put our trust in God and know He will make it right, He will vindicate us, and our victory ultimately is with Him alone, to spend eternity with Him in Heaven, be principles centered, don't lie, don't mislead, and don't deceive although today so many do, and when they do, you are more blessed when you are silent, not reactive, and don't try to have the last word, just remain silent! Wise! Blessed! Letting the Holy Spirit sooth my soul!
