Rejoicing and Glad in the Lord, Knowing My Home is Not Here, But in Heaven with Jesus Christ! Oh so Rejoicing in That!

 

Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous. 

- Psalm 32:11

The Mornings With God App had a nice Bible verse and write-up today, we need to be glad in God! Rejoice in Him, not let this world and its people get us down! A lot of people today are lazy and don't care, they are mediocre and do not have God in them, they are living without the Holy Spirit and it shows in our society. Just look at our government and elected, some of the biggest slaves to the devil, so many people have become Lucifer's slaves, so sad, but so be it. We need to pray for them and their conversion.  Be joyful anyway! Today, on the Mornings with God App it said, " Joy is a Christian duty. God wants all His children to be happy. Do they never have any troubles? Yes, many. Still God wants us to rejoice. We must notice, however, what kind of joy it is which we are so earnestly urged to have. It is not the world’s joy – “Be glad in the Lord.” Those whose gladness depends only on earthly things have no assurance of its lasting long, for all earthly things are transitory. When it is the love of Christ that gives us gladness, our joy is sure beyond failure, for He loveth us to the end. To be glad in the Lord is to do day by day our simple duty, leaving to Him all the care, all providing, all protecting, never allowing a shadow of anxiety to cross our mind. “And should the twilight darken into night,  And sorrow grow to anguish, be thou strong;  Thou art in God, and nothing can go wrong  Which a fresh life–pulse cannot set aright.” We all need to stop becoming consumed by this Earthly material world, letting it control and dominate us, think of Heavenly desires and spending eternity with Jesus Christ in Heaven. The joy here is not what it will be in Heaven. Not the world's job, but Heaven's joy! Be glad in the Lord, in spending eternity with Him! Do not let the troubles and problems of this world get you down. Stay focused on God! On Heaven! That is what is important! What a nice message and good reminder to live by! Joy needs to be our Christian duty! Stay joyful! Know what our final resting place is, where we are going!
