Peace is Man's Gift to Man Under God! We are all More Blessed When We all Work Toward Peace!

 

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

Today when I was watching the Walton's on TV, we usually watch it at noon time when we have lunch on METV. I noticed a posting on the church sign in the episode and it said, "Peace is Man's Gift to Man Under God." God gave us peace! It is a gift, we could have it, but man does not want it. There is no money to be made with peace. Today we have so many elected and governments that make all about money. They are slaves to money and the devil, giving into money, material goods, and carnal desires. They fight endless wars just for more money, at the cost of the humans they represent. My father always used to say war was big business. He was right. Now we see it first hand today with this current war with Russian and Ukraine. There is so much money to be made with war. The elected are all making tons, millions, billions on this war. They love it! They get richer by the day, while our world is destroyed and the simple people of this world, live in fear and destruction. The elected sell out their constituents, with all their insider trading and millions to be made off the good people of the world. It is sad, we really could have peace, but our governments and elected sold us all out so to get rich. It is all very sad. We all need to pray for our governments and elected. They have been doing this for a very long time. They care more about lining their own pockets then peace for their people. The sad reality of our governments and elected today, war is big business! Please pray for our world. Trust in God, He will come back to rule the world and bring peace for good. We will be able to spend eternity with Him in Heave some day too! Don't lose heart! 

Jesus is saying, “Choosing to receive my gift of peace and the peace I am is a choice. When you allow me to rule over your troubled heart, when you allow me to rule over your fears, when you give me your troubles, I will give you my peace in exchange.” We need to give it all over to Jesus, although are elected and government are slaves to the devil, we do not need to be, we can follow Jesus! 

Pope John Paul II said that Peace is a s gift from God, entrusted to us. He says, "While peace is a gift, man is never dispensed from responsibility for seeking it and endeavoring to establish it by individual and community effort, throughout history. God's gift of peace is therefore also at all times a human conquest and achievement, since it is offered to us in order that we may accept it freely and put it progressively into operation by our creative will. Furthermore, in his love for man, God never abandons us but even in the darkest moments of history drives us forward or leads us back mysteriously along the path of peace. Even the difficulties, failures and tragedies of the past and the present must be studied as providential lessons from which we may draw the wisdom we need in order to find new ways, more rational and courageous ways, for building peace. It is by drawing inspiration from the truth of God that we are given the ideal and the energy we require in order to overcome situations of injustice, to free ourselves from ideologies of power and domination, and to make our way towards true universal fraternity."

The Holy Spirit is the Giver of this peace, and He dispenses it as a gift. Galatians 5:22 says one aspect of the fruit of the Spirit is peace. We might ask, if it was Christ's peace, why is the Holy Spirit giving it? The answer is in John 16:14, which says, "He will glorify Me; for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you." The Holy Spirit's ministry is to take the things of Christ and give them us. The Trinity is a special thing now.

There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and co-eternal. Jesus Christ is God the Son, the second person of the Trinity. On earth, Jesus was 100% God and 100% man. He is the only man ever to have lived a sinless life. He was born of a virgin, performed miracles, died on the cross for mankind, and thus atoned for our sins through the shedding of His blood. He rose from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return again in power and glory. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ: His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or of any human efforts." What a nice way to put it all. Jesus is peace and we just need to find it in Him! We can have peace in this world if all humans turn to Jesus and work together! The world cannot give peace, only Jesus! Like the song says, "Everyone in the world needs Jesus!"
