The Goodness of God is All Around Us, Eat Honey, Be Content, and Remain Joyful Always in Our Loving Lord!

 

Eat honey, my son, for it is good;

    honey from the comb is sweet to your taste.

Know also that wisdom is like honey for you:

    If you find it, there is a future hope for you,

    and your hope will not be cut off.

-Proverbs 24:13-14

But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. 8 But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. 9 Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

-1 Timothy 6:6-11

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Some very good advice today in my book, Life's Little Instructions from the Bible. I love honey! It is so good for you, a gift from God with help from those honey bees. My father was a beekeeper so we had a lot of honey growing up, even for a while my father would not even buy sugar, we could only use honey as he said sugar was bad for us. He knew something! We need to be content and godly the best we can. We need to always rejoice in the Lord! We need to be gentle and loving, positive, joyful, hopeful, and always live with the Holy Spirit within! We are not of this world! Our citizenship is in Heaven, we cannot become so obsessed with this world, we need to be good people. Not lie, not cheat, not steal, be greedy, corrupt, or fraudulent. We  see so much of this today from our elected and so called leaders, they are criminals for the most part. It is sad that our authority figures are so so self serving, selfish, and greedy. God gives us so much great advice to how we should live, the above Bible verses are amazing! Good things to keep in mind! Stay positive, Be joyful, rejoice in the Lord, be content, eat honey, be a person of a goodwill and follow God! What blessings! We need to think about the goodness of God and what He has given us, stay in peace! His goodness is what matters!
