Jesus Heals, He Performs Miracles Even Today!

 

While Jesus was speaking, an official came forward,

knelt down before him, and said,

""My daughter has just died.

But come, lay your hand on her, and she will live.""

Jesus rose and followed him, and so did his disciples.

A woman suffering hemorrhages for twelve years came up behind him

and touched the tassel on his cloak.

She said to herself, ""If only I can touch his cloak, I shall be cured.""

Jesus turned around and saw her, and said,

""Courage, daughter!  Your faith has saved you.""

And from that hour the woman was cured.

When Jesus arrived at the official's house

and saw the flute players and the crowd who were making a commotion,

he said, ""Go away! The girl is not dead but sleeping.""

And they ridiculed him.

When the crowd was put out, he came and took her by the hand,

and the little girl arose.

And news of this spread throughout all that land.

Jesus is our hope! He still performs miracles today! I know I have received many of them in my life time! Many of us have whether we know it or not. Look at Joel Osteen's mom she is still alive and well today, and she was diagnosed and told she would die in a few months of cancer back in 1981, yet she is alive and well still today! Our God is gracious and merciful! The Bible is full of the miracles of Jesus and miracles of God, the Old and New Testaments both show proof of this. This is another from Matthew! People can come up with so many excuses for resisting Christ, for avoiding God, for not being faithful or believing, that is easy to do. Faith is what is hard, but it is what we all need to do. Too many people forget God! He wants to know us, love us, and for us to be part of His kingdom. The healing power of Jesus is real! Believe in His healings and His miracles!
