Blessed this Hanukkah and Advent, Rededicating Myself to God's Light and Love!

 

Thank God for our God and Savior! He is so good to us! We are so blessed by our creator of the universe. He is so good to us! His blessings, abundance, and favor are never lacking in my life. He has helped us all for so many years, the Jews were helped out of Egypt from slavery. The Maccabees who waged a three-year battle against the Syrian Greeks, managed to oust them from Jerusalem and reclaim the temple, they then had the temple cleansed, the Maccabees rekindled the temple menorah and again offered sacrifices and thanks to God. This rededication became enshrined as the festival of Hanukkah, or the festival of the lights. God is so good to His people, people who love and trust in Him! I have a menorah so try to light it and say the prayers and blessings for Hanukkah, like the blessing above and below. A big part of Hanukkah is dedication, it is a rededication to our God and living in the light and being in the light following Him!
