I Love the Gospels with the Words of Jesus Very Clear, He is So Wise, Will Most People Be Ready for Him?

 

Jesus said to his disciples:

"Beware that your hearts do not become drowsy

from carousing and drunkenness

and the anxieties of daily life,

and that day catch you by surprise like a trap.

For that day will assault everyone

who lives on the face of the earth.

Be vigilant at all times

and pray that you have the strength

to escape the tribulations that are imminent

and to stand before the Son of Man."

~Luke21:34-36

All we can do is live for Eternity in Christ! Today we see so many living without God, not having God's Peace, Shalom. They prefer to be high, smoke, drunk, sex, or gamble or some other vice. Trying to escape this Earth School world with something else, other than God. They just do not care. They have a whatever attitude, or are so indifferent! How sad! Today people become slaves to things of the devil like drugs and alcohol, escaping this world and God. I heard someone say on my Christian radio station say, so many are so quick to go through the door that is easy and wide, the door of slavery to Satan with drugs, and other vices. We need to remember that the gate is very narrow to get into Heaven, yet the door is so wide for the door to hell. Yet, so many seem to follow that route today. How sad! It is sad when someone finds more pleasure in their beer and cigarettes over their own children and well being. So many today on drugs and overdosing on fentanyl. When we go to the gym, so many people come in reeking of marijuana smoke, even the bathroom they are smoking pot, sad, they come to do exercise, but cannot even do that without being high. We need to bring our youth to Christ. It is sad today so many have turned away from the church and God. Many do not even want you to mention Jesus, God, or the devil. It is sad to see the state of affairs today. Our society has diminished into the abyss almost. Are we really ready for the return of Jesus? All we can do is be the best disciples we can and pray for humanity as a who. Sometimes I think the signs are all here. Today when I was hanging out the laundry, I heard a lot of strange noises in the sky, yet did not see any plane or anything, just clouds. Is Jesus coming back? Are we ready for God's return? All we can do is live for eternity in Christ. His promises hold true, unlike man's and drugs and things of the devil.
